Psychosocial Care Set as New Standard for All Cancer Patients

WASHINGTON — The Institute of Medicine's report “Cancer Care for the Whole Patient: Meeting Psychosocial Health Needs” has established routine provision of psychosocial services as a new standard in oncology, Dr. Jimmie C. Holland said at the annual Community Oncology Conference.
